The best part about coming home is preparing my own food again! So excited for exams to be over so I can start cooking and baking again. For now, breakfast prep will have to suffice.
I’m sure some of you would have heard to ‘Nice cream’, where frozen bananas are blended to give you a lovely concoction that tastes like ice cream.
I tried blending mango into the frozen bananas today, and I ended up with a delicious result. I wouldn’t call it ice cream, but it definitely comes close to sorbet.
The recipe is super duper simple,
2 Ingredient Mango Sorbet Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 frozen mango, diced (about 1-1.5 cups)
1 large frozen banana
Honey and Cinnamon to taste
Steps:
Just blend everything until smooth and enjoy! You can add water if it’s too thick.
Switch things up!
1) I served mine with some Graham S’mores Goldfish, since chocolate + mango-banana = awesome.
2) I also added my homemade oatmeal-on-the-go bars to make it a more substantial breakfast.
3) You can top it with granola or cereal or anything you like really.
4) Blend in some desiccated coconut for a really tropical taste.
Enjoy!
