Eat Clean with BoxGreen: August

Eat Clean with BoxGreen: August

I used to be skeptical of delivery snack boxes. I didn’t really see the point in it, since I could buy my own snacks rather than being restricted to what was available. But, after having survived a few exhausting weeks of school, I’m just so thankful to have little things like Boxgreen turning up at my door with a boxful of healthy snacks! It saves me the hassle of shopping and settles my snacks for the month.

BoxGreen seems to have undergone a revamp, and I really like their new designs! The logo and colours are lovely, and the plastic packing feels sturdier too.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO BOXGREEN!!

And, bonus of the day, I just found out that a portion of their proceeds goes to meals for the needy. Good food for a good cause. I’m in favour of that πŸ˜€

For the August Box, we have:
*Oh dear, in my excitement, I realised I didn’t take any photos ofΒ the food when I ate them… so you’ll only have these photos of the snacks in their packagings to enjoy heh.Β

Cranberry Monkey
Dried cranberries, diced dried bananas, sunflowers seeds.Β

It’s quite an interesting combination really, I would never have thought of pairing cranberries and bananas together.

They weren’t stingy with the ingredients either πŸ˜€ Look at that generous amount of sunflower seeds at the bottom!

Mocha Almonds

I was glad to see these guys again. I reviewed them previously, in July’s box, and they were pretty darn good. This batch was just as yummy. πŸ™‚

Black Ninja
Black/Green soya beans, cranberries, cashews and almonds.Β

My two favourite nuts in one package? You can’t go wrong with that! I didn’t think I would like the black and green soya beans, but they are actually pretty nice.

Another plus point? Everything was very fresh and crisp, and remained that way even after opening it. Kudos to their new packaging.

Apple Crisps

Another familiar face here. I’m so glad to have more of these apple crisps. I love them as much as (or more than) the mocha almonds.

So there we have it! That’s all for August’s box, and stay tuned for September’s Box next month. I’m just as excited as you are πŸ˜€ It feels like I’m getting a surprise birthday present every month, and who doesn’t love surprises right? Especially when it comes in the form of good food.

Have a good weekend everyone πŸ™‚
